How do I get my WiFi default password

Arris TG2492s

The default WiFi password details for the Arris TG2492s modems can be got from the label on the side of the modem. The Arris modem transmit both 2.4G WiFi and 5G WiFi. The customer’s wireless name (also called SSID) is created using the details on the side of the modem and will have the following convention, CableComm_xxxx with x being the details listed after the word “ARRIS” on the sticker on the side of the modem.  Your 5G WiFi will have a similar convention of CableComm_xxxx-5G. The default PASSWORD for both 2.4G and 5G WiFi networks is the 16 digit details listed to the right of “PSK:” on the sticker on the side of your modem.

Technicolor TC7230

The default WiFi password details for the Technicolor TC7230 modem can be got from the label on the bottom of the modem. The Technicolor modem transmit both 2.4G WiFi and 5G WiFi. The customer’s wireless name (also called SSID) is created using the details on the bottom of the modem and will have the following convention, CableComm_2G-xxxxxxxx with x being the details listed to the right of the “SSID” on the bottom of the modem.  Your 5G WiFi will have a similar convention of CableComm_5G-xxxxxxxx. The default PASSWORD for both 2.4G and 5G WiFi networks is the 8 digit details listed to the right of “WPA2-PSK”.

Cisco EPC3925

The default WiFi password details for the Cisco EPC3925 modems can be got from the label on the bottom of the modem. The customer’s wireless name (also called SSID) is created using the last six digits of the “CM MAC” and will have the following convention CableComm-xxxxxx with x being the the last six digits of your CM MAC address. Your default PASSWORD will be the nine digit modem serial number S/N.
