Click on one of the three images image below of the model of modem you have in your home to view instructions on changing your Wi-Fi password.
Arris TG2492s
It is preferred that the default WiFi password of the Arris TG2492s modem as per the label on the side of the modem be used, but if you wish to change the password the following is the procedure.
- Connect your computer to one of the 4 yellow Ethernet computer ports on the back of the Arris TG2492s modem we supplied you using the Ethernet / Cat5 computer cable (yellow or grey cable)
- To Login into the Arris TG2492s modem,click on the following link http://192.168.0.1 or enter this link into a web browser. This will bring you to the Arris TG2492s login page.
- By default modem login username is admin and password is PSK (your original WiFi password on the side of your modem), click the login button to log into your modem.
- You should now be loged into the Arris TG2492s and on the Status page.
- Click Wirlesss on the top of the page.
- Select primary network on the left hand side menu and select primary network under Wi-Fi 2.4
- Then change the WPA Pre-Shared Key: half way down the page only. Repeat this password change for your 5G Wi-Fi network also.
- The wireless password must be minimum 8 or more characters long.
- Click Apply at the bottom of the page.
- Then clict x on your web browser to exit the modem login page.
- You can now reconnect to the wireless devices with the new password. Remember to enter the new password to all your wireless devices.

Technicolor TC7230
It is preferred that the default WiFi password of the Technicolor TC7230 modem as per the label on the bottom of the modem be used, but if you wish to change the password the following is the procedure.
- Connect your computer to one of the 4 yellow Ethernet computer ports on the back of the Technicolor TC7230 modem we supplied you using the Ethernet / Cat5 computer cable (yellow or grey cable)
- To Login into the Technicolor TC7230 modem,click on the following link http://192.168.0.1 or enter this link into a web browser. This will bring you to the Technicolor TC7230 login page.
- By default modem login username is admin and password is admin, click the login button to log into your modem.
- You should now be loged into the Technicolor TC7230 and on the Status page.
- Click Wirlesss on the top of the page.
- Select primary network on the left hand side menu and select primary network under Wi-Fi 2.4
- Then change the WPA Pre-Shared Key: half way down the page only. Repeat this password change for your 5G Wi-Fi network also.
- The wireless password must be minimum 8 or more characters long.
- Click Apply at the bottom of the page.
- Then clict x on your web browser to exit the modem login page.
- You can now reconnect to the wireless devices with the new password. Remember to enter the new password to all your wireless devices.

Cisco EPC3925
It is preferred that the default WiFi password of the Cisco EPC3925 modem serial number be used, but if you wish to change the password the following is the procedure.
- Connect your computer to one of the 4 yellow Ethernet computer ports on the back of the Cisco EPC 3925 modem we supplied you using the Ethernet / Cat5 computer cable (yellow or grey cable)
- To Login into the Cisco EPC 3925 modem,click on the following link http://192.168.0.1 or enter this link into a web browser. This will bring you to the Cisco EPC3925 login page.
- By default modem login is admin and password is admin click the login button to log into your modem.
- You should now be in the setup page.
- Click Quick Setup
- Then Change the Pre-Shared Key: at the bottom of the page only. Do not use the change password area, this is to change the login password to the modem and not the wireless password.
- The wireless password must be minimum 8 or more characters long.
- Click Save Settingsat the bottom of the page.
- Then clict x on your web browser to exit the modem login page.
- You can now reconnect to the wireless devices with the new password. Remember to enter the new password to all your wireless devices.
